RESOURCES FOR EVENTS & MARKETS

Congratulations on joining our program! We hope you found the induction session useful and informative and we look forward to working with you.

Below you'll find the five actions we discussed in the induction to work towards to create your plastic-free event/ market. Click on each action to find all the information you need. Which actions you choose to complete is totally up to you, though we hope you'd like to complete all five - if you do, we will certify you as a Plastic Free Champion! Champions receive recognition and special promotional benefits through our partner networks.

While these actions reduce your plastic, they don't necessarily reduce waste. We encourage you to go further and make your event/market zero-waste. As a plastic-free event, this is very achievable as most of your waste will be compostable. Going zero-waste can save you money, help the environment, and create a good news story that you can use for promotion. To this end, we have created an additional section below with two optional zero-waste actions you can choose to complete.

Have a look though all the actions so you understand what is involved and decide which actions you want to undertake.

Head to our planning for success page where there are some helpful resources to achieve your goals. Do not skip this step - it will make all the difference.

Undertake your chosen actions, using the links below.

Once you have completed your event, we would love for you to apply to become a Plastic Free Champion by filling out this form. We'd love to recognise your achievements and promote you.

If you need any additional assistance to complete your plastic free/ zero waste event, we are able to recommend services to help you. Please contact us for information.
